Graduated Diploma of Ministry Studies in 2006
Describe your experience at CHC
I found my time at Citipointe Ministry College to be beneficial in preparing me for the realities of ministry life. It gave me a good theological basis from which to develop a strong, God centred ministry, and also covered the issues that arise within different aspects of ministry life.
What is the one thing that stands out in your mind about studying at CHC?
The study gave me practical insight into issues that arise surrounding church politics, dealing with theological issues and skills in how to effectively work with people. I was able to also gain invaluable understanding about myself; specifically in the area of spiritual gifts and ministry skills. This greatly enhances my ability to work effectively with others in a church team situation.
What are you doing now?
Currently I am the Worship Co-ordinator at Rochedale Baptist Church. This consists of running and being part of the youth praise & worship band (which often travels to minister at other churches and youth groups), and also the pastoral overseeing, administration and practical involvement in the Rochedale Worship Ministries team of about 50 people. I have also recently released my second worship album “Righteous Fire”.
