Graduated Master of Education in 2006
Describe your experience at CHC
I was an external student studying by distance education. To assist in my studies I was allowed access to staff and campus facilities during my summer vacation. This was very pleasing and helped me greatly. The content of subjects was well selected and very pertinent to the nature of the course. One summer course I attended was well planned and allowed interaction with other students.
What is the one thing that stands out in your mind about studying at CHC?
The friendliness and support provided by all staff.
What would be a great tip for students looking to study at CHC?
I have always been encouraged by the biblical characters who demonstrated TENACITY. King David’s mighty men who held on through overwhelming odds, fatigue and what could be considered a humble assignment (a patch of lentils).
What are you doing now?
Principal of Yew Chung International School – Shanghai. I have been in the PRC for 8 years in three schools within the Yew Chung Education Foundation. The introduction of character education based on biblical principles into our school has been a particularly satisfying achievement.
