NEW! From the Library
We are very pleased to let you know that CHC Library will be re-opening its doors on Monday 18th May, 2020. We’re looking forward to seeing some students and staff back around the campus.
In accordance with the directions of the Federal and State governments, STAGE 1 access will currently be limited to a maximum of 10 persons, so you will need to contact us to pre-book a library space in which to study, if you want to ensure you will get access. To book a space in which to study, please call us on 07 3347 7908 or email circulation@chc.edu.au.
If you want to borrow some resources from the library without staying to utilise the study spaces, please pre-arrange this using the My Basket option in the library catalogue. We will retrieve these items from the shelves and have them ready for your brief drop-in to collect them. To learn how to use My Basket, see our helpful video on the Library page in CHC Moodle. Don’t forget to type your name and student number into the Note section when sending us your basket.
The library opening hours will continue to be limited to 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday whilst lectures continue to be delivered online. We will continue to monitor emails and phone calls to provide after-hours support from 5 – 8pm Monday to Thursday.
To ensure safe practices continue to be exercised by library users, each person who visits the library will be required to speak with library staff BEFORE they are permitted to start using the library premises, equipment and physical collection.
