Update from the President’s Office

Dr. Jeannie Trudel, 3rd President of Christian Heritage College (CHC), has elected not to renew her employment contract as of January 2023. The CHC Board has accepted and is supportive of her decision.

In her five years at CHC, Dr. Trudel spearheaded a bold strategic plan that included increasing efficiencies, bolstering student retention, growing scholarship fundraising, and raising the academic profile of CHC students. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Trudel strengthened community, church and alumni partnerships, rebranding and advanced CHC’s reputation in the higher education landscape outside of Queensland including as Chair of ACHEA.

“I pursue God’s calling. I am grateful that God called me to CHC and for the students and staff and the wider community who have enriched my time of service here. I again hear God calling me home to America. CHC will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am excited for this next chapter in CHC’s future.” said Dr. Trudel.

“Dr. Trudel has provided exceptional leadership during her tenure. We thank her for her service and wish her the best in her future endeavours,” said Board Chair Ps Mike Mulheran.

International Network of Churches (INC) has increased its support for CHC at this time and INC National Executive Chair Ps Ross Abraham said “On behalf of INC, I want to thank Dr Jeannie Trudel for her tireless work and commitment towards CHC. We will be actively discussing the President’s role with the CHC Board and connecting with the academic leaders.”

Dr Trudel will attend the December graduation ceremony and be available on campus should you like to offer your goodbyes and farewells before she flies to America in January.
