Can you help the Counselling Centre?

Ten years ago, Dr. Ann Crawford opened the CHC Counselling and Support Centre. Over this time, it has operated in support of hundreds of students, clients, and practicing counsellors. We offer the space to counsellors in the community for professional sessions, as well as operating to the benefit of student wellbeing. Much of this service is free or substantially discounted.

A well-used space however over time needs to be refurbished. The rooms are in need of repainting, some furniture replacement, as well as upgrades to blinds, carpet, and air conditioning. As CHC and the Counselling Centre are both not-for-profit we are reaching out to the boarder community to help make this upgrade project happen.

We believe that the counselling environment can impact a person’s ability to feel comfortable, safe or welcome.
