Bio
Saven’s professional background covers multiple fields including travel, hospitality training & events management, chaplaincy, youth work, international community development, leadership and ministry training and development, and organisational leadership. Savaen also provides governance leadership on several Not-for-Profit organisations and volunteers as a State leader for Micah Women Leaders Network and Women Leaders Network with Global Leadership Network Australia. Savaen is a leadership coach for leaders across various businesses and organisations, as well as a registered professional supervisor for Scripture Union Australia.
Savaen is passionate about people and their development. Her life’s purpose is to help people find confidence in their unique abilities, be equipped, and empowered to live a purposeful life, making a significant impact in their world. Her diverse background has given her the ability to connect with people from all walks of life, culture and at every level of an organisation.
Savaen was raised by a single mum who escaped the Pol Pot war in the late 1970’s. Together with her older brother, she lived in a refugee camp located in Thailand for several years before arriving in Brisbane, Australia in 1988. It was here that Savaen had her first taste of formal education, and she is currently completing her Master of Ministry Leadership. She is now married with 3 children who love the outdoors, enjoy travelling as well as spending time on their cattle property near Warwick.
