Bio
Nikola Porter is a sessional lecturer in the School of Social Sciences. Her interest in social sciences first began in 2007, and since then, she has combined her passion of social science with education and ministry.
Nikola completed her behavioural science bachelor in 2010, and then pursued post-graduate primary school teaching. She taught in a range of different roles for the past 12 years, all the while serving in pastoral leadership roles as an ordained minister in INC. She then completed her masters in counselling, and has been in private practice since. She continues to enjoy employment in tertiary education, counselling and training, and relief teaching.
Nikola is passionate about helping people to understand the basis of human behaviour and how God created us, and to support people’s journey towards living in the fullness of what Christ as for them.
