Bio

I have 25 years experience in People and Culture, HR, Employee Relations, Strategic Leadership and Management, International Development, Workplace Training and missional engagement in the corporate and NFP sectors.

This, with over 40 years of ministry experience in the UK, Canada and Australia; which includes serving with Christian organisations in developing countries – PNG, India, Uganda, Kenya, Fiji, Thailand.

My husband and I enjoy doing life with our precious son, daughter in law and grandchildren, missional ministry, and spending time with life-giving friends. Also motorcycling since we were teens, international travel, entertaining at home, long beach walks, and we continue to live life with passion and purpose.

Personal Testimony

Growing up in a Christian family, as a child I asked Jesus into my heart every week at the local children’s mission. I was 12 yrs old when I had a defining encounter with Jesus and realised the importance of fully committing my life to serve the Lord – and I did.

What an extraordinary life journey from then to now. God has been so faithful. His goodness has pursued me every day of my life. I have learnt over the years that He wants to do the impossible in our lives and leave us amazed saying, “that was God!”

One of my favourite quotes is from Christine Caine, “Life is too short, the world is too big and God’s Love too great to live ordinary.” So, let’s do it for Christ and for those who are yet to know His Love.

Qualifications

My educational background includes a Doctor of Professional Studies, USQ; Master of Business Administration, USQ; Graduate Diploma in Management, USQ; Graduate Certificate Workplace Relations, WSU; Certificate in Alternate Dispute Resolution, UWO (University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada), and a Certificate in Ministry from Commonwealth Bible College (now Alphacrucius University College).

Professional Memberships and Associations

I am a Certified Member of the Australian Human Resource Institute (CAHRI), and an Associate of the London College of Music.
