Nathanael Lambert
Bio
Nathanael has always had a love for Literature. In High School he would read Robert Louis Stephenson, Edgar Allen Poe and Arthur Conan Doyle in his spare time. He loved his Arts Degree at La Trobe and always wanted life to stop at his first year composite English Literature course, where he studied diverse texts from the canon such as Shakespeare plays, Elizabethan sonnets, Austen novels and Hemingway short stories. He received a First Class Honours at Melbourne University later on, studying George Herbert and ‘New Science’. His PhD was on Cervantes’s masterpiece Don Quixote on the hunt for features of Aristotelian virtue, in particular prudence and justice.
Previous to coming onboard full time at CHC, Nathanael was a high school teacher who loves teaching QCE Literature as well as a sessional lecturer at CHC.
Nathanael reads copiously and widely out of pure enjoyment.
