Bio

Elise Bray is a sessional lecturer (part-time) here at CHC and QUT teaching Primary Mathematics, Curriculum, Pedagogy, Assessment Practices and Inclusive Education. Additionally, Elise is currently working as a primary pedagogy coach, part-time in a Brisbane Independent Christian School.

Elise has worked for Education Queensland as a primary teacher in both large and smaller country schools across the state and with the Independent Schooling system in Brisbane teaching for over 20 years in a mix of single and multi-age classrooms including individual and team teaching situations. Mentoring pre-service teachers has always been an interest and Elise has had the opportunity of working with many students during my years of teaching. Elise has recently been involved in coaching fellow teachers in literacy and numeracy practices and enjoy working with pre-service teachers to build confidence and enjoyment of teaching.
