Bio

James Colefax is currently employed at Hillcrest Christian College as the Deputy Head of Senior Learning Community.  In addition to this role, James is employed as a sessional lecturer at CHC and a Radio host for Vision Christian Media.

James began my tenure at Hillcrest in 2021 after serving at Calvary Christian College for 21 years.  James is a PE specialist with extensive experience in Sports Management where I served on the South Coast School Sport Board for 10 years, and am currently the Queensland School Sport – Futsal Secretary.  James has taught Health & Physical Education, Sport Science, Senior Physical Education, English, Maths, Christian Education and IT.

James is a life-long leaner who values opportunities to grow and develop in his capacity to influence and be influenced by those around him.  He has been privileged to serve under a number of great educational leaders, some that he still values as mentors and friends who challenge and encourage me in my pursuit of excellence as a Christian educator.
