Bio
Kristie Schulz is the Head of Curriculum (Secondary) at Parklands Christian College, and is an experienced secondary school teacher. She has served as a Science and Maths teacher, a Head of Science and Mathematics, a Head of Middle School and in her current role overseeing all curriculum implementation in the secondary school.
Kristie recently completed her Master of Philosophy (Education) studies, where her research examined the policy rhetoric of STEM education in Australia, and a case study of a transdisciplinary applied STEM subject that she designed and enacted at her school. In this subject, she designed an innovative pedagogical framework for the implementation of transdisciplinary curriculum, that can extend well beyond the four disciplines of S.T.E.M.
Kristie is a passionate educator, who holds closely the values of lifelong learning and creative innovation.
