CHC commences search for new President/CEO

CHRISTIAN HERITAGE COLLEGE (CHC) Council has commenced a global search for the next President to succeed Professor Darren Iselin who completes his term of office in December 2017. The new President will be only the third to hold this position since CHC’s establishment in 1986.

CHC is one of Australia’s leading private higher education providers and offers a diverse range of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from a distinctively Christian perspective. CHC was founded in 1986 by the International Network of Churches (INC), formerly known as Christian Outreach Centre, and was a vision birthed by Order of Australia recipient, Emeritus Professor Brian Millis, which sought to re-imagine how people think about human flourishing, vocation, calling and the integration of faith and learning across a range of disciplines and fields of study.

CHC has, for over three decades, been a leading and highly valued higher education provider and the preferred choice for many Christian denominations and organisations. CHC is also an International Affiliate of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and hosts their Best Semester student experience program through the Australia Studies Centre.

CHC has an open enrolment policy and attracts students from all states and territories in Australia as well as a growing international market. CHC currently has approximately 850 students across five disciplines including Business, Education, Ministries, Social Sciences and the recently formed Millis Institute which draws from the Liberal Arts tradition.

CHC is located within a large parkland campus in the south-eastern suburb of Carindale in Brisbane, Queensland.

The successful candidate will be a truly inspirational and visionary Christian leader with the intellectual standing, business acumen, senior executive experience and clear sense of call to lead CHC into an exciting new phase of growth and development.
