CHC Ranks Amongst Nation’s Best in Quality Surveys

Recently released results of national quality surveys for higher education are good news for Carindale’s Christian Heritage College.

As a private higher education provider, CHC is measured by the same indicators as large public universities in terms of student satisfaction, teaching quality and graduate employment outcomes.

The surveys are conducted by the Australian Government’s Department of Education and Training, and are formally known as the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT).

The Indicators provide an objective snapshot of higher education in Australia through the eyes of students and graduates.

CHC ranked highly for “Overall Satisfaction” with undergraduate and postgraduate course graduates with scores of 94.3 and 95.5 out of 100 given by students, respectively.

For “Quality of Teaching”, CHC graduates from undergraduate programs ranked the College as 86.8 and postgraduate graduates gave the College a score of 93.3.

In terms of preparing students with the necessary skills for work, CHC again ranked highly with scores of 92.5 (undergraduate) and 88.9 (postgraduate).

Graduate employment was also a strong measure of the students’ success, with 86.5% of graduates of Diploma and Bachelor programs in full-time work within six months of graduating.

Current students are also surveyed for their experience, providing a real-time assessment of the College’s performance.

These scores also rank CHC in the top echelon of providers with scores of 87.9 for “Overall Experience”, 92.2 for “Teaching Quality”, 88.0 for “Skills Development” and 87.9 for “Student Support”.

The scores present a resounding case for CHC’s claims to be a quality provider of higher education, with outstanding levels of student support and a springboard into meaningful, sustained employment.
