SUMMER RESIDENTIAL
Christian Heritage College and Scripture Union are partnering to create Launch Week; a one-week summer residential, for high school students Grades 10-12, focused on raising future leaders, business men and women, and world-changers. This experience could be the turning point for you to engage a career of great impact in the world! This week will be a fun and engaging way to make the most of the summer holidays where young people can be inspired and challenged, while making friends from all over QLD.
The first half of each day will consist of engaging workshops delivered by CHC lecturers, focussed on leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainability and Christian perspective of management. These topics will be taught through leadership simulations, business challenges and academic debriefs to ensure depth to your learning. The second half of each day will be dedicated to preparing you for a life of influence as you undergo sessions to prepare for university life, learn to manage your personal life effectively and continue to make strong relationships with leaders and fellow campers. Our night times will be devoted to fun activities and spiritual encouragement from dynamic communicators as they share their experiences of both business and ministry in their own life. Further to this, LAUNCH Week will provide the perfect opportunity to begin university study with CHC leading into Semester 1 of 2021. The contents of this business residential experience are derived from BZ100 – Introduction to Business and Management, which can be completed for FREE (a saving of $1,950!) during grades 11 and 12. After the completion of this unit, students are entitled to 2 more FREE units during their schooling, which will save $5,850 toward a Bachelor of Business.
