SHORT COURSES

You can level-up in your career in as little as six months.

Which short course is right for you?

If you don’t have a qualification and want to gain something that recognises, enhances and secures the career path you are already OR if you want to ease in to Higher Education with a short-term commitment then our Undergraduate short courses are perfect for you. You’ll love CHC’s incredible student support, small dynamic classes, and ready access to lecturers and academic staff. You’ll feel instantly part of the CHC community and be on your way to getting your first undergraduate qualification.

If you are someone who already has an undergraduate degree and would like to up-skill, specialise and advance your career then our Postgraduate short courses are right for you. These are designed to be flexible, practical, and industry relevant. They are perfect for professionals wanting to prepare for leadership, career growth or personal development.

Lastly, if you are looking to change your career direction, and want to test the waters with short-term commitment, you will also love our short courses at CHC. We can organise for you to speak directly with our lecture staff so you can talk about what you are hoping to do and get advice on which course is right for you.

If you need any help, or want to find out which course would be right for you, feel free to contact us through our website or email study@chc.edu.au.

Application for admission to all undergraduate courses and the Master of Teaching courses must be submitted through QTAC. For postgraduate courses, please apply directly through the website.

Once you’re offered a place at CHC, you can then submit an Application for Transfer of Credit and your request for recognition of prior learning and/or recognised current competency will be assessed by your Course Coordinator.

The unit costs for the current year can be found on our Financial Information page (please note that there may be a slight increase for the following year). Students enrolled in the pre-service education courses, who meet the eligibility requirements, are able to access HECS-HELP to defer their student contribution amount. All other students who meet the eligibility requirements, have access to FEE-HELP assistance.

CHC offers a limited number of scholarships. Current scholarship information is available on our scholarships page.
